 Yoder was a 26-year-old LSU doctoral student who was last seen alive on March 3, 2003. A fisherman found her body 10 days later near the Whiskey Bay exit of Interstate 10, a few hundred yards from where Kinamore’s body was discovered in July 2002. Investigators said Yoder was abducted from her home near campus and then beaten, raped and strangled before her body was dumped. Investigators announced on March 18, 2003, that her death was linked to the serial killer, who at the time was identified only by a DNA profile. |
